This creature obtains nourishment predominantly within realms of fiction, i.e.: manga, video games, indie comics, animation, and, on rare occasions, long sprawls of text with no pictures whatsoever.

Based on this fiction-rich environment, it will come as no surprise that “E” largely communicates with other members of the species by creating various fictions of their own, hoping an abstract emotional connection can be established.

Some experts in the field speculate that further socialization might open new pathways in the creature’s development*, but as of this writing this theory remains untested.
